4th of July Weekend

Lots of excitement! Our cousins were in town and our Mormon state had festivities on Saturday and Monday since the 4th was on Sunday. We went to the parade on Saturday with the cousins then just us girls went to the Layton parade on Monday.

The best part of the parades were the umbrellas though...

And, on top of that...I had a NASTY cold the entire weekend! So, Mom wasn't in the best of moods...but I tried really hard to stay happy.


Mike had to work every day of the holiday weekend. Bummer.  But he hates parades anyway...

    My kids haven't had the pleasure of enjoying sparklers yet, we can't have fireworks [of any kind] where we live. Looks like a fun weekend! I love the picture of you and the girls!
