This year the girls were fairy princesses. Lucy LOVED it! She wore her wings ALL day and would run around saying "FLY TO THE WORLD!" Lydia tollerated her wings. We trick-or-treated to grandma Mathis's and aunt Kelsie's works, then met up with Kaia and Laken at grandma Fagg's.
Then we went to the assited living center where aunt Krista works and trick-or-treated to the old people. I think that's probably more scary for little kids than a spook alley! Lucy knew exactly what she was doing, but was still a little wary of the senior citizens. Lydia just went along with the rest of us. When we were done we walked back past all the old people and Lydia waved bye bye to everyone like she was the show!
It was a busy but fun day. On the way home in the car Lucy said, "I have alot of candy, for me...for Lydia...for mom...for dad...for grandma..." I guess she's going to share her candy with everyone! Then she started talking about next Halloween! (sigh)
