Lydia was spinning and spinning and then stopped and said, "Whoa, I'm busy."

At dinner Lucy said, "All this food we eat comes out poop! He he he" Then Lydia said "Mine's not poop. Mine's sparkles."

Lately Lydia has been waking up with just a knotted tangled mess in the back of her hair. Like a brids nest back there. One morning Mike and I were kinda laughing about it across the room while Lydia was eating breakfast. Aparently she heard us, cuz she turned around whith a dirty look on her face and said "Don't talk about it!"

On Sunday we sat behind a family that had a one year old baby. It kept turning around and wanting Lucy's little toys that she brought to church, and then it would cry. Lucy said "I think we shouldn't have a baby because all they do is want things, and cry."

The other day the girls were just eating lunch and I was cleaning up the kitchen and Lucy said, out of nowhere, "Mom, do you like it when someone bugs you all the time?" I said, "No, I don't like it when anybody bugs me." Lucy said, "Then don't bug me, Mom." WHAT! Where did that come from? She's going to be really fun when she's a teenager!

The girls were staying at my parents for a few days while we went to Arizona. My dad asked Lucy if she missed us and she answered "no" really fast. My dad asked if she was sure and she said, "Well, if you just miss your mom, then you'll be sad. If you don't miss her, then you can be happy. You should be happy." Pretty good reasoning for a 4 years old!

Lucy to me: "Sometimes when mom's are having a baby, they get fat." Gee...Thanks for the reminder...

Lucy told me tonight that she wants to be a "circut girl and balance on the rope" Oh...she wants to join the circus. Great... She asked how old she had to be to join the circus, then said, "You have to be 7 don't you..." So I guess when she's seven she's going to leave me for the circus!

We're happy to announce.....
IT'S A BOY!!!!!!
I know I bla bla bla-ed about being ok if we had a girl, but we are SO glad it's a boy! I don't think we could have handled any more princesses or dress ups or drama in this house. Let's hope our little boy will be ALL boy. We could use some change around here!
Mike was all grins when we found out. He really started to get excited about this whole baby thing. Mike is sure he'll be a sports star just like his daddy!
Just some silly girls...

Eating "dirt" on April Fool's
Lucy was skeptical from the begining and soon figured it out, but Lydia really thought it was "special dirt" and was fine with it. Hey, it tasted good...
It's raining...in the house. Hurry! Get under the table...I mean the bus stop.
Easter 2011
Lydia was NOT happy about getting silly stringed.
This was the only picture I got from Grandma Mathis' egg hunt. It was intense! Lucy just took off and got all her own eggs. I could only help Lydia be faster! So sorry about the lack of pictures!
