So Lydia is starting into her terrible two's a little early, and you know how kids are at this age...always saying no... but Lydia dosen't just say no. She says "NO WAY!" Like at dinner, I'll tell her to get a bite and she'll push her fist at me and say "NO WAY!" Or for nap time. "Let's go take a nap." "NO WAY!" Ahh...I love this age.

Lucy was in the tub the other night and let out two short farts and one long one. She started giggling and said, "That sounded like 'bark, bark, woof'!" (Such a lady.)

Lydia kept spilling her little bowl of cheerios on purpose and Lucy thought it was really funny, which made Lydia want to keep doing it. Finally, after cleaning up cheerios a million times, I told Lucy to stop laughing at Lydia. Lucy said, in all her wisdom, "I'm not laughing at her. I'm laughing with her!" Where did she get that from! (You're three years old kid!)

Today I gave Lucy some minty gum. A few minutes later she says "Mom, this gum is spicen' me all up!" and she spit it out.

The Nursery kids have been coming into primary for singing time. We've been singing the song "It's autumn time,"lately. So Lucy comes home and sings "It's all da time, it's all da time, the weafs are fawing down."

Circe gave Lucy some of their hand-me-down dress-ups. Lucy was trying everything on and put on a tinsil halo, but didn't like it. Circe told her when she wears it she's an angel. Lucy replied with a scowl, "Sometimes I don't want to be an angel." (That's the truth, but we LOVE you so much!)

The other day in the car I was singing along to the song on the radio. Lucy from the back seat goes, "Don't sing. It hurts my ears!" I asked her if it was too loud, but she told me "No, it just sounds kinda funny."

Lucy was a fairy princess for Halloween and had pink butterfly wings she wore all day while running aroung and saying, "Fly to the world!."

Two Words: Fart Machine
Mike's parents have a fart machine. (A little speaker that lets out all sorts of fart sounds when you push a button on it's remote.) Apparently it's really funny. Lucy keeps on blaming the farts on Grandpa Mathis, who's just trying to watch TV.
