Caleb is home!!!!!

Yea! Caleb is home from his mission! He's been in Oaxaca, Mexico the last two years. We've missed him and we are so glad he's here! He brought these way cute shirts home for the girls and they all wore them to his home coming.

Welcome home! We love you, Caleb!

Lovely little Liddy

Lydia likes to put things on her head, be it hats or mixing bowls. She also LOVES her froggie. She can't sleep without it and won't get out of her crib until she's made sure she's get him with her!
She's not dressed until she has ALL the dress up jewerly on.

We like to hop. We like to hop on top of Pop!

Any time Grandpa Mathis is on the floor it's an invitation for the girls to bounce on his belly. (Really they are testing how hard they can bounce with out making him barf.)

Getting ready for Caleb to come home!

We got together with Circe and Laken and grandma's house to make some "Welcome Home" posters for Caleb. We let the girls paint on some of the extra paper. They had so much fun! In our little apartment we don't get to get messy very often and the girls loved it!

Yee Haw!

The Girls played with this demolished cow boy hat for most of the morning. (Of course that involved many tears and fights over who got to wear it.)

Lucy kept her pants clean ALL day and NIGHT!

Yeah, Lucy!!!! All 4 stickers on her clean pants chart!
We started potty training at the end of February. Lucy has been day trained for a while (with the occasional accidents), but not through the night yet. So we were super excited that she kept her pants dry all night. Good job Lucy!
Her reward was a balloon. Since they don't make balloons that say "I kept my pants clean!" She chose a "Happy Birthday" balloon. (I told her it said "I kept my pants clean!" though...)

I've been trying to keep myself busy lately...

This is one of the latest "Anya creations." I saw the idea on a crafting blog. It's just a dollar store backpack and some rose petals from the wedding section of the dollar store. It turned out pretty cute! Mike has noticed that I've been doing more little crafts and he said "I'd just better not come home and find that you've covered the walls with feathers." I just told him not to give me any ideas.

I also made this house,

Which soon turned into this castle.
The house was just too small to accommodate all the toy animals that needed homes. And what is a castle without a slide?! It only lasted about a week till Lucy sat on it and smashed it, but that's the fun of diaper box castles, use and abuse and throw it away. It's free! I'm just doing my part to Re-Use and Recycle. ;)

Ya gotta have bath time pictures.

The girls are CRAZY in the tub. I mean crazy! It's like having all of Surf N Swim in the bathroom. It's one of their favorite times of the day. Me...well, most nights I try to have them both scrubbed and rinsed off before the tub is full enough to for them to make a mess. Then it's out and dried off ASAP! But every once in a while (BEFORE cleaning day) I let them just go at it.

Lydia's new favorite place.

Lydia LOVES sitting in the cupboard. She'll get in, close the door, and just sit in there. I think it's the only way she gets a little quite alone time in this house. Maybe I should start sitting in the cupboard too!

The Wedding Dress

Grandma found this white dress at Savers for $5! It's Lucy's new favorite dress up, the wedding dress. Lucy is obsessed with weddings ever since aunt Krista got married in February.
