Our trip to SLC and some christmas fun!

This trip to Salt Lake was a great idea...until bed time. We had so much fun. We ate at the mall and then saw the lights and the temple. We rode the train through the city and planned to stay the night at the hotel. The hotel...ugh! All was honky dory, we got the kids settled down and they were all quiet and worn out. Then the people above us came into their room. It was about 9:00. It sounded like they brought three elephants and were performing elephant gymnastics. It was terrible!!! we had to call the front desk and ask them to call the room to make them be quiet. It took about a hour. So now we were all very tired and onery. Miles woke up in the middle of the night and I had to get him back to sleep before he woke up the girls. Then we were finally all asleep...4 A.M. Mike wakes up. wiggles around and then gets up and turns on a light! the kids were all asleep! what the heck!? so now we are ALL up. And hungry. too bad the hotel breakfast doesn't start till 8:00! Ugh! Try keeping three hungry kids happy for 4 hours in a tiny hotel room. Needless to say, we wont try that again for a VERY long time. At least the hotel part.
